Welcome to the Erie County Assigned Counsel Program’s request for information, complaint, and good stories portal. This form is to be used for current CLIENTS of the Assigned Counsel Program ONLY. Assigned Counsel clients can request attorney information, court information, case team member information (social work/investigator name and contact information), file a complaint, or submit a thank you or good story to the Program administrators. We welcome your positive comments on the work that has been accomplished for the clients assigned by the Program.
If you are the family member or friend of a client assigned by the Program, please be advised we CAN NOT and WILL NOT provide ANY information concerning a client’s case without their written consent. If you are NOT a current client of the Program but have received a court notice, summons, or notice to appear for court and have questions, please contact our office at 716-856-8804. No information will be provided by ACP through this portal.
NOTE: ALL CLIENT COMPLAINTS OR ATTORNEY CHANGE REQUESTS MUST BE IN WRITING. Clients assigned through the Program that wish to file a complaint, please be advised that you MUST include specific details. Requests for reassignment of counsel WILL NOT be considered without these details. Please note, in many cases judicial approval will be required for re-assignment of counsel.
